THE EIGHT KEY
HERE YOU FIND YOURSELF NOW
A restlessness abides in you, something like a desperate love mixed with sorrow and hesitations,
a forever unsatisfied need for a permanent peace, happiness and fulfillment
which you could never quite find in anything
in the external world.
This restlessness isn’t really due to any external circumstances as it may seem but to the fact that
you do not yet know who you really are.
Why don’t you know it?
Because so far you have mostly perceived only your apparent limitations, and forgot that
you chose to come down here not to gather shallow pleasures but to be
a Light Worker, which now you should manifest more and more
in every moment of your life.
How will you manifest it every moment of your life?
Here you find yourself now
in a physical world where you move in a space of landscapes, roads, buildings, people, etc.
In much the same way
within yourself you move in a space consisting of inner landscapes in the midst
desires, automatic reactions, etc.
What is essential is to fully realize that notwithstanding the appearances all these things
ARE ALSO EXTERNAL TO YOU
and inwardly you journey through them just like your body
moves through the physical space.
Here you find yourself now in a body of a certain age,
male or female, healthy or less so,
with a family or at least someone you care about, study or a have job, a livehood of sorts, a place where you live, a certain existential situation.
In you there are so many emotions not always in harmony with each other, cravings and real needs, joys and insights, conscious or unconscious fears, a measure of love, regrets, aspirations…and above all
a mind crowded with many beliefs about what according to you
is right or wrong, true or false, etc.
However, you have seldom, if ever, really CHOSEN to have these beliefs but have absorbed them from your family, education, other people, the books you have read, from your whole culture…
They are all programs inserted in the computer
of your brain by others.
WHAT WILL YOU DO NOW
WITH ALL THIS?
The way that Rumi put it is:
Tied up have you been, your feet in the mud
and your body to a log chained: break off
all your bounds, for the final flight yourself prepare;
from this weird world your last journey make
soar up to the peaks where no more separation
is there between you and your true home.
Consciously or unconsciously you are seeking yourself,
seeking the bliss and glory, the love and wonder of your Source, what can never be found in your ego, superficial personality and apparent self-image
because they are not at all
who you really are.
The very fact that you are reading this means that you have begun
an irreversible process of Awakening
which can never be stopped notwithstanding whatever resistances
your ego might put in the way.
