We all came down here to accomplish a part, big or small,
in the Divine’s Work, His cosmic Plan on Earth.
Whatever our work for the Divine may be, we must first remember who we really are so that
we can be His instruments, His messengers, to those around us
still in their deep slumber and begin to awaken them.
This is the wonderful moment that you have been waiting for
since immemorial times and so many lives.
Up to not so long ago you have been like a drop of sea water
so identified with your own form that it considered the sea as something
other than itself and was thrown here and there by the waves,
confused and overwhelmed by them.
But by now many things that used to attract you, especially ordinary pleasures, lose their attraction and you wonder what you could possibly have seen in them once.
Now you are aware, at least at the mental level, that
you are one with the whole sea and are beginning to dissolve
the circumference of the drop of water you were
and become one with the whole sea.
This is the moment you have been waiting for from immemorial ages,
for which you worked towards since countless lives,
the beginning of the greatest adventure.
There are so many aspects of the Path, from A, Ascension, to Z, Zen,
and so many Teachers, but not all suit everyone:
how will you find out which is the best
for you personally?
Whoever has a great potentiality for the Path almost always had also at first
an almost equivalent resistance or a block against it,
which is like an “exercise” or test to make his realization more integral:
If you find in yourself a darkness remember that in you
there is also a much greater light.
The Divine’s Love is expansion, all selfishness a contraction.
without opening our heart to His Love there can be
no real aliveness in us.
The loveless and selfish are not alive in any real sense, for beside themselves they care only about their partner or children and very little for everyone else, therefore
their “love” is only a form of self-serving
or a mere attachment.
The main cause of all human problems and difficulties is the general tendency
to care only, or almost only, about material, transitory things,
for then of course one becomes superficial and empty,
Another cause is that, as Chuck Palahniuk pointed out, that:
Nobody wants their problems solved. Their dramas. Their distractions.
Their stories resolved. Their messes cleaned up.
Because what would they have left?
Just the big scary unknown.
Why is the unknown scary to so many?
It is actually something WONDERFUL!
Attitudes are based on our systems of belief, values and expectations
which from our early childhood our family, education and our whole culture made us identify with.
Apart those which correspond to our original nature, usually very few,
they are all conditionings which trap us in a limited, superficial
and unreal life until we can become free of them
